These incorporate a strong rolling swivel pushed into the bottom of the coil which can be connected
directly to the main line thus semi-fixing the feeder, without the need for a top-stop.
A short hooklength is then tied to this swivel. This provides a very simple rig with the emphasis on safety, as any breakage above the feeder, allows the fish to pull the swivel clear of the feeder and not remain tethered.
